GAD Charity Objectives

(1)
To advance education and training of tradesmen and women, young people and adults over the age of 21 in particular but not exclusively women in Ethiopia who primarily see prostitution as their only way to make a living;
 
(2)
To relieve sickness and to promote and protect good health in particular but not exclusively by building a clinic;
 
(3)
To advance the public's education in Africa's ancient history and natural scenic beauty.

MUSIC ARTISTS JOIN FORCES WITH CHARITY

Marcus Simeon is amongst many established musicians supporting Global African Development.  His album 'Rasta 4 Life' has received  critical acclaim around the world and live performances are always a special event.  Marcus, an active member of GAD, has kindly donated copies of his album to raise funds for the charity.

The Cottage Industry is part of our fundraising initiatives. All members of the industry are skilled professionals in their art. One of GADS objectives is to promote African...s at home and abroad. Some garments, arts and crafts come from Ethiopia, Ghana and a multitude of other areas in Africa. Some are made by our talented members who donate 10% of all sales made to GAD.
