Welcome to Global African Development (GAD) has been set up on the principle that we endeavour to 'enable people to help themselves' rather than providing temporary solutions to ongoing problems.

¬ The charity also intends to help counter the negative image portrayed of Africa, by highlighting it's benefits though publications in England.

  
 

OUR OBJECTIVES

 

1) To advance education and training of tradesmen and women, young people and adults over the age of 21 in particular but not exclusively women in Ethiopia who primarily see prostitution as their only way to make a living;


 2) To relieve sickness and to promote and protect good health in particular but not exclusively by building a clinic;


3) To advance the public's education in Africa's ancient history and natural scenic beauty.

  TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL COLLEGE

The college proposal is in line with the Ethiopian government objective to bring modern day industry to Ethiopia, especially under developed regions like Shashemane.  Ethiopia has a large population of which Shashemane has an estimated population of 100,000.  An international community exists in Shashemane and unemployment is high amongst the youth hence the requirement and demands for a college to offer high-quality education.

ROYAL KINDERGARTEN

 

A school in Shashemane that caters for children aged between 3 - 6 years and provides a much needed service in what is an under developed region in Ethiopia.
